# Corrections

Some clinics pay for a Featured slot. Paying never changes a clinic's score or its place in the ranking.

If you find a wrong clinic name, an outdated price, an incorrect address, a closed clinic still listed, or any other factual error, email [hello@dentistshortlist.com](mailto:hello@dentistshortlist.com).

Include the page URL and a brief description of what is wrong. If you have a source (the clinic's own site, a Google listing, an NPI record), include that too.

## What we correct

-   Clinic name or address is wrong
-   Clinic is permanently closed
-   A published price shown is no longer on the clinic's site
-   A treatment listed on the clinic's card is not on the clinic's site
-   An NPI match is incorrect
-   Any other factual error traceable to a verifiable source

## What we do not change on request

-   Scores or ranks (these follow from the data)
-   Clinics that failed the eligibility gate (these are excluded by rule, not by choice)
-   Facts that are accurate as of the last data refresh, even if conditions have since changed

Score and rank disputes that point to a data error (a treatment we missed, a price we mis-read) are welcome. Send the source and we will check.
